Online Yoga, Movement & dance Classes

In this Room you will find online dance, movement, Hatha and kundalini yoga classes as well as online circuit training.

Our expert teachers include a former dancer with the Royal Ballet, a fitness trainer with 30 years experience and a Lecoq-based physical theatre and circus performer.

All the classes are creative, fun and filled with humour and kindness. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a complete beginner or if you’re very experienced.

We’re offering these online classes for a donation of £5 for groups with a minimum of 5 people (although you can obviously book individually). Or you can book a private class for a fixed fee (see hosts’ profiles for prices). In both cases, 10% of your payment goes to charity.

Western culture encourages us to live in our heads for most of the time, or to quote the late creativity expert Ken Robinson, many of us treat our bodies simply as a way ‘to get our heads to meetings’. The physical benefits of exercise and how it boosts our immune systems are well documented, as are its effects on our mind and emotions. With movement of any type we have to be ‘in our bodies’ and fully present, which immediately helps to reduce mental anxiety and stress. And like a muscle, the more we practice, whether during a dance class, kundalini yoga or circuit training, the more balanced and able to cope we will be with whatever life throws at us.
