Audrey has been teaching yoga since 2002 and is qualified in the tradition of Krishnamacharya, holding a British Wheel of Yoga diploma. She also is a qualified Thai Yoga masseuse, Reflexologist, Therapeutic Wellbeing Practitioner and volunteered for three years with the charity Kids Company.

Audrey found TRE by accident whilst researching the psoas muscle. After one group TRE session, as unfamiliar as it was, it also felt totally familiar and she knew it was something brilliant, innately natural and very beneficial. David Berceli who pioneered TRE calls it ‘revolutionary’. Audrey trained with Steve Haines in 2024, and has since been working with people working through grief, PTSD, dealing with stressful situations, uncertainty, mind/body health issues, and ’normal’ everyday stresses and strains. 

TRE is a self-help method using a set of simple exercises to activate the body's natural mechanism of shaking or trembling to release stress, tension, and trauma, thereby calming the nervous system and restoring balance.

More about TRE

TRE -Trauma Release Exercises- is a way of bringing a natural tremour/ shake/ vibration into the body which helps rid it of trauma/tension/stress. Once the stress is shaken out, the parasympatheic state is accessed, then a feeling of calm, being grounded and present is attained. It is ‘you healing you’- everyone can do it- it is part of our DNA but most of us haven’t been taught how to do it. It can help change  habitual stress and behavioural patterns and teaches us to self regulate. Ultimately the goal is to be able to shake by oneself whenever the need arises, which is empowering.
