Puppet Making Workshop

A table-top puppet-making workshop for one child (6-12 years) accompanied by one adult (Participants will be required to assemble some basic materials in advance). The character of the puppet can be themed around the school curriculum (see puppets below) 60 mins. Price: £50

Group sessions: £10 per person and a suggested donation of £5 if you are unemployed.

Times: Mon and Wed 4 -6 pm. (But Nathan is flexible with timings and has other slots available, as well as morning slots during school holidays).

Personalised Poetry Readings for our Supper Sessions

Price: £50 for one-to-one’s or per household

Poetry readings for groups as part of the Supper Sessions suggested donation of £5 (if more than 5 in a group). Tues or Thurs 6-9pm.

About

Nathan is a poet and performer. His first poetry collection, Threads, was longlisted for the Polari First Book Prize 2017 and his work has been presented at major venues including Royal Court Theatre, Southbank Centre and Latitude Festival as well as on Channel 4.

He is also a puppeteer and puppet-maker and has created puppets for Soho Theatre and run puppet-making workshops for Little Angel Theatre.

Nathan is offering puppet-making sessions for children and adults and he is curating personalised poetry readings for our Supper Sessions.

Nathan studied Fine Art at Oxford University and has worked extensively in film and theatre. He is funded through Arts Council England, has toured with the British Council and is archived in the British Film Institute. His first poetry collection, Threads, was longlisted for the Polari First Book Prize 2017, and his second collection, CNUT, is published by Inkandescent. As a puppeteer and puppet-maker, he has created puppets for Soho Theatre and run puppet-making workshops for Little Angel Theatre, amongst others.
